Candidates may join courses at any stage providing that they meet the prerequisites for the particular course.
The western Mediterranean diving season is year round. Depending on the tides visibility range between 8 m to 40 m, , water temperatures range from 13°C in the winter months to 25°C in summer. The topside air temperatures range between 18°C in winter to 42°C in summer.
The winter months are usually accompanied by a breeze. Candidates should bring appropriate thermal protection to remain comfortable while spending up to 2 hours in the water. Candidates will require full scuba equipment including alternate air source, submersible pressure gauge, BCD with low pressure inflator, compass, whistle and knife. Tanks, weight belts and weights will be provided by Happy Divers & IDC College Costa del Sol. |
